Beautiful Downtown Des Moines

We had some really great weather last weekend in Des Moines, which was perfect for the opening day of the Downtown Farmers' Market! I walked around downtown and snapped a few photos. Buds and blossoms, blue skies and buildings... so much to capture.

The Accademia and Michelangelo's David

Friday night we had an event at The Accademia. Because it was a private function, I was allowed to take photographs (even with a flash) — this is a very rare occurrence, and I am VERY lucky! The whole night was absolutely amazing! The Three Tenors of Florence gave the group a private concert to end the evening... wow were they fantastic! I will never forget this night. Ciao!

Florence, Italy

Today I arrived in Florence, Italy. I took a walk around the hotel's park and snapped all of the following photos, except the last one. I took this one while we were walking to dinner tonight. This place is amazing (I knew it would be.... but in person, it's so much more). The wisteria is all over and smells amazing (it instantly reminds me of the Moss family's back yard!). I can't wait to see more of this city and photograph some of this hotel — WOW! I hope to share more photos with you very soon. Until then, ciao ciao!!
